Flagship specification, thinner support network
OnePlus builds phones with flagship displays, flagship cameras and flagship repair costs, but without the high street presence Apple and Samsung have in Britain. Getting a screen replaced usually means posting the phone somewhere, which is precisely when a policy that can replace the handset outright becomes useful.
Not every OnePlus is water resistant
OnePlus has been inconsistent about IP ratings across the range, with some models fully rated and others carrying nothing at all, so it is worth knowing which of those yours is before assuming a spill is survivable.

Cover that outlives the manufacturer warranty
Manufacturer plans have to be bought when the device is new, and they run out. Ours do not work that way. A OnePlus bought five years ago goes on a policy on the same terms as one bought last week, which matters because it is the device people are least able to be without, which is why we repair or replace rather than leaving you waiting.
What is not covered
Cover is for accidents and theft, not for the passage of time. Wear and tear, scratches that do not affect how the phone works, battery capacity dropping with age and faults that fall to the manufacturer all sit outside the policy.
