One brand, an enormous range
Samsung sells at every price point, from an A series handset costing less than a night out to a Fold that costs more than a laptop, and the repair bills scale accordingly. What does not change is the screen, because every Galaxy uses an AMOLED panel bonded to the glass, so a crack is a whole assembly replacement whichever model you own.
Water resistance is not a warranty
Most current Galaxy phones carry an IP68 rating, and Samsung is explicit that this does not make liquid damage a warranty matter. The rating is tested in fresh water under laboratory conditions, degrades as the phone ages, and covers nothing that happens in a pool, the sea or a pint.
